Any person who is 16 or older and lives in or around Lake Ariel, or who owns property within this area is eligible to apply for membership. Following the completion of an application form, and annual payment of $4.00, prospective members will meet with the Trustees of the Fire Company to discuss their interest in the fire service.
The general membership meetings are held on the first Monday of each month and all meetings begin at 1930 hours. The Relief Association meets on the first Monday of each odd month with the meetings beginning at 1930 hours. In those months the general membership meeting directly follows the relief meeting. In the event that the first Monday is a holiday, the general meeting is held on the second Monday of the month. All meetings are held at the Lake Ariel Fire Hall, Route 191.
The first three Wednesdays of the month are typically training sessions. Training begins at 1900 hours and usually concludes at 2100 hours. Training is held at the Lake Ariel Fire Hall unless otherwise announced. The second Monday of the month is for driver training. Work details are on the fourth Monday of each month, and if necessary, the fifth Wednesday of the month. Work details may be scheduled on an as needed basis, as in the case of fundraisers.
